Semi Detached House for sale in Tarifa
This historical gem of 1795 was totally restored in 2011 and is situated in the old town area of Tarifa (Cadiz). Awarded first prize for the best renovated house by the cultural Association "Mellaria 201". Built within the Royal Wall it was discovered and restored by a team of archaeologists.
The property was built over three storeys and features 225sqm and a 75sqm rooftop solarium with shower and the accommodation comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two extensive lounges, a kitchen, two fireplaces, a laundry and a storage room. All the bedrooms and bathrooms have built-in oil radiators with independent thermostats.
For the restoration of the property a project to the National Cultural Heritage was required to be presented, to oversee the reform of the wall. The house was demolished almost entirely except for the facade, the central load-bearing wall and the bottom wall.
The walls of the house are thick enough and the house is so solid that ensures internal microclimate, so it lacks dampness and noise. All windows of the house are made of solid wood IPE German system with aluminum inside with double glazing and air chamber.
It is built with high quality materials, stone flooring on the ground floors nd Ronda handmade terracotta tiles on the upper floors. The house has electric heating (oil radiators with individual thermostats) in all rooms and bathrooms, water pressure engine for bathrooms, solar panels, and the shower on the roof.
The house is considered number 11 in historical importance after the Castle, the Great Wall, churches and mansions.
Approximately 10 minutes walk from the beach of Los Lances and just a few steps from the port of Tarifa. Close to shops, restaurants, bars, shops and all the services that the town offers around.
It is an architectural gem, for those who appreciate living in an artistic monument enjoying the Arab wall.
