Letter from Diana Morales

Welcome to the fourth edition of Highlights. I am proud to say that this issue is a true reflection of our unremitting aim to produce a more interesting and more beautiful magazine, to do justice to our exquisite listings and the expertise of our partners. You will find that this issue has more articles, better photography and more pages than the last. We are even introducing a section on international property that includes stunning residences from Sotheby's European portfolio.
Dear Reader,
Our cover shot is by Tom Bosch because of its impact, and we have dedicated no less than ten central pages to prominent local photographers, because we believe that photography is one of our most effective sales tools.
The year 2004 is nigh, and we think that by the beginning of the year we will see some prices level out, becoming more realistic than those of the 2000 property boom. I must say, there are some fabulous homes on the market… on the beach and inland. Only a small selection of them are featured in the magazine, just enough to give you a taste of the many wonderful properties we have on our books. Marbella will always be a privileged place to live, and to invest in, because of its unrivalled climate and sophisticated facilities. The new highway has brought areas like the Mijas-Ronda-Sotogrande triangle closer than we could ever imagine, expanding the investment opportunities along the Coast.
We hope you enjoy this issue of Highlights, and we would be happy to assist you in any way we can.
Best Regards,
Diana Morales, Director
