  • In Q2 2025, a total of 590 super-prime transactions were recorded—19% more than the same period in 2024. The total value of these sales rose 33% year-on-year, reaching US$11.8 billion.
  • Dubai maintained its global lead by number of transactions (143 deals, US$2.6 billion), while New York regained the top position by total sales value, registering US$2.9 billion across 120 transactions. Los Angeles also posted its best quarter since 2021, driven by demand for high-end single-family homes in Beverly Hills and Malibu. Hong Kong continued its recovery, with both deal flow and values rising significantly.
  • London, meanwhile, saw a modest slowdown with 45 sales (US$0.9 billion), 13% below last year, as tax changes continue to weigh on activity. However, the report notes an improvement compared to Q1, suggesting that international buyers are taking advantage of more attractive pricing.

According to Liam Bailey, Global Head of Research at Knight Frank,

“The global super-prime market continues to surprise on the upside. Dubai holds its lead, but New York’s resurgence and strong rebounds in Los Angeles and Hong Kong highlight the depth and diversity of demand.”

The outlook for the rest of 2025 remains cautiously positive, supported by resilient wealth creation and sustained global capital flows.
