The following guide to things to do with kids in Marbella has been compiled by our Marbella native team members with children and teenagers at home, so we hope it provides some very useful information.
Public playgrounds
Marbella is renowned for its child-friendly environment, with public playgrounds seemingly dotted everywhere. Play areas on the beach are a great option for entertaining smaller children, with those at the Puerto Pesquero and Puerto Deportivo offering ample space for all.
If you’re looking to dine on the beach while the children play nearby, there is a playground right on the sand, on the western side of the Puerto Deportivo, which means you can sit at either one of the beach restaurants La Pesquera del Faro o El Chiringuito and watch the kids play.
The park at Bello Horizonte has swings and slides as well as a mini skate park.
The parque de la Represa, located just below the Puente Malaga and the public library, is another of our favourite parks, with a new playground (the park was refurbished at the end of 2022). The area is very pleasant to take a stroll in, and there is a pond area with ducks and turtles as well as a dog park in case your pet joins you. If you’ve got a sweet tooth after running around, at a 2min walk just down the street there is the Generalife cafeteria which specialises in ‘churros’ and is a favourite amongst locals.
In the Eastern part of Marbella in calle Bunker, just above the Costa del Sol Hospital you can also find a lovely green area, great to walk around and which also has a children's playground. This park will be much more quieter than those in the centre of Marbella.
Parque de la Constitución
Marbella centre’s ‘green lung’, located in the heart of Marbella centre, with a lovely childrens playground set in a beautiful lush green park which is ideal for wandering around, cycling and enjoying a little peace and quiet. Inside the park is an auditorium where musical and theatrical shows can be enjoyed mostly in the summer months.

There are also quite a few bunny rabbits roaming around freely! Costa Jump, the trampoline park mentioned in this guide is actually just by the park, so one of our favourite things to do is spend an hour jumping and then take a stroll and picnic in the park.
