Spectacular Mansion in Marbella area

We love this property for obvious reasons. It is a truly spectacular country property situated in one of the oldest estates in the area of Marbella and set on an elevated plot with magnificent views along the coast from Gibraltar to Morocco. The current owners started to build the villa in 1997 and finished in 2001. Their main objective was to build a villa that looked like an old ‘finca’ from 50 years ago and wanted to use original materials with the highest possible standards. It is exactly this, what they told the architect/designer. The interior design was put together by the owner’s wife with extreme sensitivity for colors (fabrics, walls colors and exteriors) and dimension and lots of attention to detail (the kitchen is hand made and took over a year to complete).

The result was a high quality country estate, boasting fountains and indoor patios, with all the traditional Andalusian charm one would want, as well as offering the comforts of a modern home (cinema room, gym Turkish bath, his and hers master bathrooms, his and her dressing rooms, self contained two bedroom guest's wing and separate staff quarters). The house has central floor heating, air-conditioning and hot air supply for chilly days.

The mature garden, paved with Golf Green grass, is truly magnificent with an iron arch covered with Jasmine flowering in the winter time and a place to play “Jeux des Boulles”.
