Situated just to the northern side of the celebrated Golden Mile, Las Lomas del Marbella Club is one of Marbella’s classic luxury residential areas. Covering an extensive area of thirty five hectares, it follows a gentle upward gradient from the nearby coast towards the towering La Concha Mountain a few kilometres inland.
When it was first developed by a select group of pioneer property promoters in the early 1970s, this was the finest urbanisation of its kind in the entire area. Since then other luxurious developments have arisen in and around Marbella, but thanks to its immaculate green spaces, architectural charm and layout, Las Lomas del Marbella Club remains one of the best addresses in Southern Spain.
An island in the midst of everything
One of the key reasons that Las Lomas del Marbella Club is such an ideal place to live is because it is centrally located and yet retains the ambience and tranquillity of a private oasis. The town centre of Marbella, the Puente Romano and Marbella Club hotels, beautiful beaches and Puerto Banús are all within a few minutes’ drive away. The golf courses of Nueva Andalucía are close by, in addition to lovely rural and coastal walks, health and racket clubs, private schools and a host of other services.
At the heart of this exclusive urbanisation is the Lomas del Marbella Club Pueblo, a Spanish style village consisting of charming townhouses and apartments that form a nucleus within a circle of private villas. The latter include some of the finest residential buildings in Marbella; spacious homes set on expansive grounds with views of both mountains and the sea.
The most famous of these properties is the estate of Prince Salman, which covers almost twenty hectares. Its Saudi owner was also responsible for the pretty mosque that can be seen from the Golden Mile. Aside from these impressive landmarks, Las Lomas del Marbella Club is known as a comfortable, private living environment that offers residents security and excellent access to all amenities.
In addition to the large villas that make up most of the area, Las Lomas del Marbella Club also enfolds amongst others the urbanisations of Monte Paraíso, Ancón Sierra, Lomas del Rey, Coto Real, Las Terrazas de Las Lomas and La Joya, as well as Las Lomas de Magna Marbella and the recently completed Concept8.
